DJ Arantxa Gallardo has definitely got the feeling for the right beat. The first time she had contact with electronic music was in 2000. Inspired by a few DJs she bought a turntable, mixer and her first records – but first she just listened to them.
A few mixes later from DJs like Sven Väth and Carl Cox, she realised that for her, music had to be more than just listening, and she started DJing herself: learning by doing. Her feeling and love for music has helped her to successfully develop her own style: deep and groovy beats. She's been the resident of the legendary queer party "Backstage Diaries" in Cologne since 2009 and is also a highly-regarded guest-DJ abroad.
To pass on her love for music, she initiated and founded with other colleagues the "Reifeprüfung" (Graduation) in 2008. This association supports the young DJ culture.
