While working at a radio station in Ulm she first started using a mixer. Shortly after that she was summoned to represent the station at a beachvolleyball tournament. That constituted her entrance to a career as DJ Skinny. The name "Skinny" refers to the lead singer of "Skunk Anansie" and is a hommage to the band. – When it come to music she is not specialized in certain directions. Her listeners can look forward to a "Best of" that embraces all genres and decades. Skinny's sets aim to combine various chart breaker to a skillful mix. She's only happy when the crowd clamors and the dancefloor trembles.

As of December 2010 she belongs to the board of directors of a newly established association called "CSD Ulm/Neu-Ulm e.V." that will premiere this year.
